TEGAN

We thought we would update you on our little girl who had a ruptured disc when

she came to us and was generally in a really bad way.

She is doing so much better and she is now starting to get out on some very short
walks to very gradually build the strength in her back and hindquarters. We are also

in the process of arranging some physio for her back in the New Year.

It was important that Tegan had plenty of bed rest and
certainly no jumping onto the sofa! BTRF arranged for

a pet pen to be transported half way round the country

and our thanks go to Station Couriers and their sister
company Diamond Logistics who helped with the pen

transportation. Tegan loves her pen and chooses to

sleep in there a lot, so obviously this is really

     comfortable for her back.

Her tummy is so much better too now we have her on a much better diet! She is
also on the usual well-being supplement plan. Whilst we do understand that these

plans can sometimes be a bit tricky - some of the potions and powders are not
always palatable and our carers are getting to be dab hands at thinking up different

ways of hiding them in food when they administer them - they do make such a
difference as we can see in Tegan and all our foster dogs.

So all good for Tegan and our thanks to her foster carers for all their love and care.

In fact we couldn’t do what we do and make such a difference to these dogs’ lives
     without our foster homes.

Our thanks to Aunty Lisa too, who gives us so much help with these more complex
     Beddie cases.
