DOOGAL

Hi all, Doogal here, I’m one of BTRF’s forever foster dogs! As I am sure you know, I

am in forever care because I have that awful condition that some of us Bedlingtons

can suffer from - Copper Toxicosis.

Remaining in BTRF’s care means I get the treatment I need to make sure I stay well

and happy. I have to have regular blood tests to check that my liver is behaving itself

and I have a very special diet to keep me in tip top condition.

My last lot of bloods were really good, and my vet doctor says how well I am doing

considering I am nearly 9 now. A lot of that is down to my lovely foster mum who

takes really good care of me and makes sure I have everything I need and more!!!

But of course, I am not spoilt!!!

Just recently I have had a bit of a sore mouth, so BTRF is arranging for me to have a
dental check this week. I am hoping it isn’t too serious, but Aunty Kaye and my foster

mum think I may need a clean and polish so watch this space – I will keep you
updated!!! Here is a photo of me showing off my lovely teefs!
