DOOGAL

Hello everyone! Me next for an update!

Several of my BRF foster buddies have got in before me with their updates and that’s

because I’ve been visiting my fab vet team at North Weald Vets, having my bloods
done. No, no, no, don’t panic. I have to have this done every 2-3 months because

you’ll remember I’m affected by that awful disease we Beddies can get sometimes
       called Copper Toxicosis.

Copper Toxicosis is potentially life threatening and it

can occur when we are bred from families that are not
CT clear. I have learnt quite a lot since I started my

treatment. It can be quite complicated at times so
BTRF have a special page on their website which

       explains what it is -
       http://www.bedlingtonrescue.co.uk/copper-toxocosis/

I came into BTRF a couple of years ago with CT and

because of this I will stay in foster care forever so
that BTRF can oversee my care to make sure I stay in

tip top condition for as long as I possibly can.

The results are back - my liver is still doing well!

No changes needed to my care plan!!! I am pleased

about that because I really love my special diet -
                                                it's yummy.

Thank you everyone - me and Mum are off

       to celebrate the good news.

       Lots of love and hugs

       DOOGAL xx
