LITTLE MO
Well, here we are in April already – where is this year going and
how did we get here already! Aunty Kaye and Aunty Julia have
asked me to do my update for the newsletter and here it is!
You will know me – I’m Little Mo and I’ve been in BTRF’s care
for quite a few years because of my many allergies – so I’m in
forever foster care.
I’ve had quite an exciting few months – firstly I have moved – well my foster parents
moved and I have gone with them of course !! We are living on the lovely Isle of
Wight, and I’m having a great time! The weather is not too bad, and my new home is
quiet, which is lovely.
Once we moved and got settled it was time to revisit my diet and supplements – we
have to do this occasionally with beddies that have allergies like me to make sure we
stay happy and comfortable and continue to enjoy our food.
Aunty Lisa got to work with Aunty Kaye, and I now have a brand new diet that is
really helping to support my allergies. I have had problems with my ears and skin in
the past, but things are so much better, and I am a lot less itchy and scratchy now –
thanks to my new diet and supplement plan.
I have a lovely Dr Vet who is working closely with my BTRF care team to make sure
that my allergies stay in check, and I’m a really happy girl at the moment. Everyone
keeps a very close eye on my ears (Ooooo that’s funny!!!) because they have been
quite problematic in the past and my medication and diet gets tweaked occasionally
to keep them clean and healthy.
So that’s me! I’m doing well and at 9 years old this year, I’m one of the older BTRF
foster dogs so I deserve some special care and attention – and oh boy do I enjoy
that!!!
