LITTLE PIPPIN
Hi all, Pippin here! I’m another of the BTRF dogs who has been
in long term care because I’m a more senior lady who is too old
and needs too much special ongoing medical treatment to be
moved and in any case, my very special foster Mum (and BTRF
Beddie brother) can't bear to part with me – so I am staying put!
st
I have recently celebrated my 1 Gotcha Day! One year ago, at
11 years old I came to my BTRF emergency foster home while my
BTRF care team sorted out my numerous medical issues.
I had an urgent surgery to remove some tumours in my tummy
and lots of special treatment to get me back on track with my
general health and allergies. I have something very special called
‘immunotherapy’ that really helps to keep my allergies at
bay. The donations from the BTRF supporters help to cover this
treatment as it is very expensive. I am very thankful to you all as
it really does make me feel sooooooo much better. My foster
mum also helps out by buying all my special supplements, so my
care really is teamwork!
I have gone from that very sorry and very sick little Beddie that
first arrived on BTRF’s ‘doorstep’, to a very well and happy senior
citizen, thanks to my BTRF care team, my lovely foster mum and
you all for donating so generously when I need it.
Look at me now!!!!! I have shared some photos of me and one of
me and my BTRF buddy!
My treatment and care is ongoing of course, so please do spare
some pennies when you can, if you can!
Thank you everyone
Pippin xx
