HAPPY ‘GOTCHA’ DAYS
Well how cute is this!
We rehomed this little lad a few months ago and as you can
see, he has really landed on his feet!
He celebrated his 3rd birthday and his special ‘Lovely Little
Person’ in his new family baked him a very special doggie
birthday cake! We are told they are inseparable
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOUNG MAN!!
Often rescue is tough! It is emotional, occasionally thankless and we are at times the
subject of abuse and criticism - not easy to deal with when we are all volunteers
doing the very best we can for the dogs in our care.
And just when we wonder why we do it, we get updates like this that makes all the
heartache worthwhile.
This lad was rehomed 3 years ago at the age of 10 years, he is now 13 years old and
a very happy boy.
His 'Lovely Person' tells us he is the light of his life and has got him through many
'low' times in his life, always being there beside him.
These success stories, of which there are many, are the reason we do what we do.
Thank you to our loyal supporters, we couldn't do this without you all.
Is any part of a pumpkin
toxic to dogs?
Dogs can eat pumpkin —
both the pulp and the
seeds — but only when
prepared properly and
served plain (sorry, no
pumpkin pie for you, pup).
