IN MEMORY OF SUSIE
BTRF would like to pass on their condolences to
David and Angela McCracken who recently lost
their rescue Bedlington terrier dog, Susie, at the
grand age of 14. David and Angela made a very
kind donation of £50 in her memory.
David also donated his Club 200 winnings of
£97.00 in remembrance of Susie.
David wanted to share Susie’s story with BTRF supporters.
‘The sudden loss of Susie has indeed been devastating, we miss her dearly every day.
We rescued her when she was roughly four years old, she had been bred to near
death and kept in a small ramshackle shed, outside, and in appalling conditions, her
legs, tail and ears were just skin, her coat had been burned off by being kept
knee deep in urine, she was just a little, living skeleton.
Fast forward six months and the transformation was truly remarkable. She was the
most loving, gentle and loyal wee girl but also showed all the hunting characteristics
when out mooching the hedgerows.
We had the pleasure of her company for 10 years, given we were told she was four
when we got her made her 14 when she left us. It was so sudden and we still can't
quite take it in.
We still have our Millie, who is approximately Did you know you can leave
seven. She was rescued by us out of China, a legacy to

three girls.’ David and Angela Leaving BTRF a Gift in your Will
enables us to continue our work
in rescuing and rehoming
Bedlingtons and their crosses
throughout the UK.
