Sara Ward and I headed off bright and early on the Saturday morning for the 3 hour drive to Yelvertoft, Northamptonshire for the Midland Bedlington Terrier Club Open Show.
We were greeted by some, now, familiar friendly faces from the club who showed us where to set up our stand and offered us a much needed coffee and bacon roll!
The day was great fun and there were lots of beginners present to take part in the 'Have A Go' class at the show. It was a great chance to have fun with their Bedlingtons along with some training on how to handle their dogs in the ring and give them a chance to complete. Sara entered the class with her BTR Beddie, Edie - and thoroughly enjoy the experience!
The BTR stand was busy all day and we raised £87.71 - all of which will go towards helping our Rescue dogs settle into their new home with behavioural help and vet treatment where necessary.
We both had a very enjoyable day and we would like to thank the MBTC for letting us have the stand space for free
